Mindful of the monks' need to expand and have this monastery completed as soon as possible, the Board of Directors just spent the last two days conducting interviews of our short-listed general contractors. This has been a highly competitive process, beginning with more than twenty-five qualified companies and now down to the final three. As you can imagine, the Foundation Board has had to make some difficult decisions along the way, but the consoling, ever-present reality has been an awareness that God has chosen the contractor long before any of us and we must simply find the company chosen by Him. For this reason, we have hosted three contractors at the monastery and asked many tough questions.

Over the upcoming weeks, we will be prayerfully discerning the selection of our contractor to build this monastery to last a thousand years. Please join us in prayer as we ask for the Divine Light and Wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit. We are hoping to get the contractor involved as soon as possible, so that he may assist us in value engineering the design.
St. Joseph, pray for us!
