As the Carmelite monks prepare to celebrate with great joy the beautiful Easter Vigil Liturgy, and the snow melts on the mountains, we want to extend to you and your families our most sincere greetings for a blessed and grace-filled Eastertide.
Since our last post, much progress has been made towards the realization of a New Mount Carmel here in America. Most importantly, the Carmelite Fathers and Brothers have undertaken the monumental task of reviewing the design in its current form and prayerfully discerning the configuration of the monastery and its dimensions, so that the monastery may endure for future generations and be ideally suited to the monastic needs of the community. As we type this post, new renderings are being prepared and we are eager to share with you the design as it is greatly improved and truly reflective of the austerity, simplicity, and beauty of the life led by the Wyoming Carmelites.
At the same time, we beg the charity of your alms this Easter that the engineering may be completed and the building materials with lengthy lead times might be ordered, in particular the stone and slate. No donation is too small as we cherish each gift for the building of the monastery. Please consider making a generous contribution at this time that progress may continue as the Carmelites continue to receive solid young vocations.
Again, our fondest greetings and union in prayer. May this Easter truly be blessed as we rejoice in the Lord's victory over death and the fruits of His Resurrection!
